LEON BAILEY-GREEN

Our history goes back to 2011. Founder Leon Bailey-Green, then working as a marketing consultant, built a network of contacts after becoming a commentator on the emerging e-commerce industry, with work published in Drapers, Vogue, The Independent and Retail Week.

He began hosting informal dinners that brought together founders of online-only brands and digital leaders from traditional retail businesses to share experiences of working in e-commerce. These early gatherings prioritised open, informal conversation and laid the foundation for what would later become Upper Clash.

Over time, Leon shifted his focus from consulting and commentary to facilitating industry connections and hosting structured roundtable and panel discussions focused on building consumer brands.
